 4/9/03 -- Back In Gear!
I find myself now with a new job and a new locale. The job has hindered a lot of the progress on my projects, but I will put all the effort I can to getting them done. I will also being starting on many new ones
Here is a new release of ASPIV. This works out to be release 0.80. It is very much a beneficial update, fixing a bunch of bugs and a a large code rework. Check out the install notes for more info on changes.
Also, coming soon, as promised, Bracketeer will be here. It is 95% complete (sadly it was not in time for this year's tournament) and instead of releasing almost complete code, I will hold off until I finish it. Look for it very soon. (Now you don't have to utilize ESPN for your March Madness pool!)
Projects to look forward to:
  • Completion of LAAS
  • Rebuild of Mista Bump
  • A Slew of New Speakers & Stands
  • OpenBSD PF Statistics and Monitoring Tool

Happy Holidays to all. Enjoy the holiday season and we will see you in 2003 with more updates and all new web applications.
 10/14/02 -- A Beginning
Sorry for the lack of recent updates or software releases. I have recently accepted a job offer and am preparing for relocation. Updates will come in time, but other things must come first. Peace.
 9/20/02 -- Injurious
I've been sidelined with a wrist injury the past week or so. It has made typing very difficult. I will get LAAS (Log Access Analyzer Script) out ASAP.
 9/12/02 -- Pending All Else...
I will try to release a beta of LAAS (Log Access Analyzer Script) later today, unless the birthday festivities get out of hand. Twenty-three... It's been a fantabulous ride!

8/30/02 -- Here Come The Irish
I depart in about 12 hours for the Meadowlands to watch the grandest team in the land, Notre Dame, battle the Terps of Maryland. I cannot wait! I am leaving this video for all to watch to start the 2002 season. It is ripped from the Notre Dame website and is the true Irish Football Spirit. Enjoy! (I would advise downloading and then playing.)

 7/5/02 -- Froggy Joke
Engineering joke of the day (courtesy of Ryan):

An engineer was crossing a road one day when a frog called out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn into a beautiful princess." He bent over, picked up the frog and put it in his pocket. The frog spoke up again and said, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you for one week." The engineer took the frog out of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket. The frog then cried out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess, I'll stay with you and do ANYTHING you want." Again the engineer took the frog out, smiled at it and put it back into his pocket. Finally, the frog asked, "What is the matter? I've told you I'm a beautiful princess, that I'll stay with you for a week and do anything you want. Why won't you kiss me?" The engineer said, "Look I'm an engineer. I don't have time for a girl friend, but a talking frog...that's cool."
 6/27/02 -- NCAA Tourney Revealed
The NCAA Tourney App is pretty much done, I will post it in a few days. I am also working on a few other side projects: an addressbook type database for graduates, some mail server work, studying for the CCNA exam, and finally the start of my next big project (name will be disclosed later).
 4/8/02 -- The Why Not.
A lot of people ask me why I code in ASP. My answer is simply that I picked up an ASP book a while back with intent to learn it and have tried to continue this. Future projects will be in PHP (or CGI), but since I know that well, I want to focus on knowing ASP just as well.
 4/3/02 -- Seeing The Police
The future of police radar for my car will be me uplinking to a satellite to download realtime images of the road in front of me. Then I can pick the cops out and make sure to slow down when I hit those mile markers. It's just that simple.
 3/1/02 -- Food Timez
On the way to the hungry guys... on the way... and look for an NCAA tourney application.
