ASPIV (ASP Image Viewer) Mar. 2002 - (in progress) » DEMO «

This is a picture viewer. It makes use of an ASP frontend and I am still devising a use for an SQL backend. It allows cataloging of pictures into albums for display on any website. A few characteristics of the design:

• ASP
• Password protection of certain folders (in progress)
• Heirarchy based ordering
• Generates thumbnails on the fly
• Picture resizing
• EXIF info processing for digital camera stored information
• Colorful interface (working on new color schemes)
• Works with JPEG, BMP, and GIF images (more to come later)
• Intelligent caching
• SQL for storing picture names, descriptions (in progress)
• Search by name, description, etc. (in progress)
• Image rotating using jpegtran (in progress)
